About House of Cyan
Most visual work is either mass produced, or reserved for people who already know how the gallery world works. House of Cyan is neither: a point of view, not a catalogue, run the same way whether it's one piece or a full portfolio.
We work two ways. Buy now from original works, limited editions and prints, chosen because we'd want them ourselves. Or commission us: bring a space, or an estate of them, and we brief an artist to produce what it needs.

Who we are
House of Cyan is the trading name for this business. For any question about this policy, contact enquiries@houseofcyan.com.
What we collect
When you contact us, request a commission, join the list to hear about new work, or use any enquiry form on this site, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, organisation if you tell us, and the content of your message. We don't collect payment details through this site.
How we use it
To reply to enquiries and quote for work. To manage a commission from brief through to delivery. To send updates about new work, but only if you've asked to hear from us, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We don't use your information for anything else, and we don't sell it.
Who we share it with
Only where it's needed to do the work: production partners, framers, and shipping and logistics providers when a piece is being made, packed or delivered. We ask anyone we share it with to keep it confidential. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and commission records for as long as needed to deliver the work and meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them. If you unsubscribe from updates, we stop holding your details for that purpose straight away.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent for us to contact you. To do any of this, email enquiries@houseofcyan.com. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

About House of Cyan
These terms apply whenever you buy from the Collection, commission work, or otherwise use this site.
The Collection
Works shown as available are offered subject to availability; a piece can sell before we've had a chance to update the site. Original works are one of a kind. Editions are produced in the stated run size only; open editions are printed to order. Prices exclude delivery unless stated.
Commissions
Commission pricing is agreed and confirmed in writing before any work begins, including the deposit and payment schedule. Once you've approved the concept and price, the commission is confirmed and production starts. Because the work is made specifically for you, commissions can't be cancelled once production has started, except where we've failed to deliver what was agreed.
Delivery
We handle framing, packing and insured delivery worldwide, or hand off cleanly to your team, as agreed for the commission. Delivery timeframes are estimates, not guarantees, particularly for international shipments.
Returns
Returns on Collection purchases follow standard consumer rights, which vary depending on whether the buyer is a business or a private individual, and by country of delivery. Commissioned work is excluded from returns once approved and produced.
Intellectual property
Artists retain copyright in their work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Buying a piece doesn't transfer reproduction rights. The content of this site, text, images and design, belongs to House of Cyan or its artists and can't be reused without permission.
Liability
We're not liable for delays or damage caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including delivery carriers and customs. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
